A Bit About Me

​

Human gut harbors trillions of microorganisms, which play pivotal role in modulating human development, physiology and pathology. I’m fascinated with the communication between the two kingdoms, and believe that the microbial metabolites serves as one of the major messengers. With my past work experience in microbial metabolism, combined with Wu lab’s expertise in immunology and genetics, I hope to discover novel molecular mechanisms by which microbial metabolites affect immune function in health and disease.
